We are currently serving state, local, federal and commercial clients and licensed in multiple states. Our primary services include security guard and patrol services, security escort services, security consulting, electronic security, investigations & surveillance and executive protection services.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Vice President, Corporate Operations, this is a mid-level management position charged with serving as a strategic leader within our security services organization, supporting the development and implementation of initiatives that enhance training, professional development, certifications management, security operations, and client relations functions. This dynamic role is essential to ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and growth for a major security services provider managing both public and private sector contracts
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Training and Professional Development:
Under the direction of the Vice President, Corporate Operations, this is a mid-level management position charged with serving as a strategic leader within our security services organization, supporting the development and implementation of initiatives that enhance training, professional development, certifications management, security operations, and client relations functions. This dynamic role is essential to ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and growth for a major security services provider managing both public and private sector contracts
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Training and Professional Development:
- Serve as the primary official responsible for interacting with Human Resources and Security Operations to facilitate initial and refresher training courses
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive training programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and client-specific requirements.
- Coordinate with internal trainers to deliver company and client-required training modules, including crisis management, technical skills, and customer service.
Certifications Management:
- Manage the acquisition, renewal, and tracking of certifications for security personnel to meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of employee credentials and certifications, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Liaise with certification bodies to stay current on industry trends and requirements.
Security Operations:
- Provide ad-hoc support for operational oversight for key projects and contracts, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Support security teams in managing critical incidents, conducting after-action reviews, and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized security solutions.
- Facilitate routine Client Satisfaction Questionnaires distributed to our current clients along with corrective and follow-up activities for noted deficiencies
- Monitor client satisfaction, address concerns proactively, and identify opportunities to expand service offerings.
Project Support:
- Serve on cross-functional teams to implement new initiatives, technologies, and business processes that align with organizational goals.
- Provide support in proposal development and support the sales team in securing new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with corporate management to align special projects with organizational objectives and long-term strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Security Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10 years of experience in senior leadership role within security industry.
- Strong background in the security services industry, including public and private sectors.
- Strategic planning, leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of security industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, DHS).
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
Certifications: (Active or Ability to readily obtain)
- Monadnock or ASP Expandable / Collapsible Baton Instructor Certification
- Handcuff Instructor Certification
- Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) / Pepper spray Instructor Certification
- First Aid / CPR / AED Instructor Certification
