Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of work instructions for manufacturing processes
- Utilize 3D modeling and printing techniques to support production activities
- Provide production support and troubleshooting assistance as needed
- Minimum age of 18 years to work in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in a 2-4 year university program/degree in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering
- Overall GPA of 2.5 or above
- Experience in SolidWorks
- Experience with design documentation
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Concepts
- 12-week paid internship
- Pay range: $16 - $20 per hour (35-40 hours a week)
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and six sigma philosophies
- Engage in insourcing projects to optimize manufacturing processes
- Contribute to production support projects, ensuring efficient and quality-driven operations
- Participate in productivity projects to enhance overall manufacturing performance
- Opportunities for training and professional development throughout the internship period
- Mentorship and guidance provided by experienced professionals
- Evaluation based on success in flagship projects and assigned side projects
