The Global Risk Specialist (GRS) position will collaborate with Global Security team members as well as other stakeholders to collect detailed and accurate information and provide this information in a concise manner to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure they are equipped with the necessary information to mitigate risk to the business.
This is an on-site role and is based in the company’s Resilience Center in New York City.
- On-site requirement are three twelve hour shifts during the business week (Mon - Fri) and 1 remote 4 hr. shift
- Occasional overtime for team vacation coverage.
- Occasional remote weekend coverage.
Main Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for monitoring, assessing, and reporting on threats to the company’s worldwide operations by leveraging proprietary and open sourcesPrepare accurate, succinct, and timely communications on issues that could impact site operations globally, business travelers, supply chains and other business unitsPerform Crisis Management Duties by monitoring critical assets, initiating response actions and notification in the event of emergency situationsMaintain ongoing awareness of Executive Leadership travelPrepare weekly threat assessments and other intelligence reportsMaintain proficiency of the company’s mass notification platform, travel tracker, mapping system and other Resilience Center toolsLeverage social media research and analysis to support internal threat investigationsTriage and escalate telephone inquiries to appropriate parties within the companyProvide trip briefings to international travelers and escalate travel related incidents to regional security and other partners for follow up.Use of video management and access control systems to conduct incident reviews and other assigned tasksDaily shift briefings and hand over to the company’s Resilience Centerhub in Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaSkills / Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or 5 years’ experience performing similar duties in military, law enforcement or corporate security.Strong organizational, written, and verbal communications skillsSkilled in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)Exposure to data visualization and mapping platformsProficient with social media and opensource searchesAbility to monitor inquiries, quickly receive and assess the information, recall operational procedures, and initiate actions.
