Security 101 – Utah is now recruiting for a Lead Technician to leverage their “hands on” technical skills to completed major Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, and IP network systems to ensure smooth installations for our Military, Federal and Corporate clients. Salary
Hourly wage varies from $28.00 to $35.00, non-exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, life ins. prescription coverage, paid holidays, PTO and more. We will provide a vehicle, laptop and smartphone.

Skills/Abilities:
- The lead technician must have at least 2 to 5 years’ career experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a project lead responsible for complete project supervision.
- Must be process oriented, with good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics with professionalism.
- Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential.
- Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction.
- Candidates must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR.
Current Certification In One Of The Following Is Desired
- Access Control: Genetec, Software House, Lenel.
- VMS: Milestone, Genetec, Hanwha, Axis.
- Alarm: DMP, Honeywell, DSC
- Security 101 will invest in training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Must be willing and able to handle any part of the installation project role.
- Assist in field design layout for larger enterprise systems in support of the sales department.
- Troubleshoot wide area/segmented networks.
- Work directly with end users on how to operate systems.
- Managing quality control and providing fanatical customer service
- Taking responsibility for and tracking project progress.
Education:
- High School (or GED) minimum requirement
- Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred)
