What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Processor (1 YEAR BANKING EXPERIENCE) position at Security Bank of Pulaski County?
We are searching for an experienced and highly motivated loan processor to act as a liaison between potential customers and our financial institution to assist qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner. The loan processor oversees gathering the necessary paperwork and documentation required for someone to apply for a loan.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for the loan package.
- Prepare and maintain all paperwork for existing and new loans, including loan disclosures.
- Create repayment plans.
- Researching and correcting mistakes in applications for clients
- Reviewing file documentation for missing or erroneous information
- Ensure compliance with the established regulations and law requirements.
- Meeting loan deadlines
- Assisting loan officer with requests and tasks needed to complete and process loan applications.
- Respond and advise clients regarding loans and transactions.
- Accept and post payments.
- File and maintain loan records.
- Inputting loans into core system
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience with loan software programs
- Verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Time-management and organization skills
- Ability to work with strict deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to submit to a background check.
- Qualified to work in the United States.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27,040.00 - $38,000.00 per year
