Product Manager

Security Benefit is searching for an experienced Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate may work remotely but will be required to travel to our home office in Topeka, Kansas or our New York office periodically. Security Benefit associates are working in a hybrid environment with both remote and on-site work.   Who Are We? Security Benefit is looking for a Product Manager to lead an experienced Delivery team to launch new intuitive user experiences for Financial Advisors and Customers. This involves building intuitive and customer centric digital capabilities that enable self-support, efficiencies, and AI driven insights. This role will be responsible to lead one or multiple product teams depending on the organizational needs.   As a Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for:  Defining and owning near-term roadmaps for feature development, to ensure timely delivery on business outcomes Define and track key success criteria, aligns the roadmap to deliver on them and to deliver business goals Be proficient in data analysis and visualization tools as well as be abler to synthesize test results to make compelling recommendations Understanding of APIs, web services, and how systems integrate with each other. (internal and external systems) Communicating effectively with engineering teams Understanding technical challenges and can discuss them in the context of product development Documenting and approving well defined business epics, stories, and acceptance criteria for all features (leveraging Jira to manage and track work) Setting OKRs for their product domain in close partnership with other PMs/ Lead PM Leveraging qualitative & quantitative information to inform a clear picture of the customer to begin to inform vision and strategy Directly engaging with customers and other stakeholders to document Product Requirements Documentation Pitching feature ideas to team members and VP of Digital Products. Communicates product changes and rationale to business stakeholders Communicating Product strategy and vision to their own delivery team as well as partner or dependent delivery teams   Who Are You?  If you are passionate about shaping user experiences in the annuities sector and thrive in a collaborative environment:  3-6 years as a Product Manager or relevant role Bachelor's degree or Master Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or Software Engineering  Proven experience as a Product Manager independently leading a delivery team Experience in the Financial Services industry as this role will focus heavily on Retirement Accounts, Retirement Financial Products, and regulated business activities. In depth knowledge of Security Benefit & Zinnia products and services preferred Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.  Experience working in a variety of technology environments including but not limited to the following: partnering with vendors, partnering with third party teams, and working with internal engineering resources    What Can Security Benefit Offer You?
