3rd Shift Parking Lot Rover
Friday-Monday (Off days Tues, Wed and Thurs.)
10pm-6am

Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be a US citizen or present valid right to work paperwork.
- This is a driving post (must have good MVR and Valid Driver's License).
- Ability to work Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
Job Description:
- Parking Lot Rover will conduct vehicular and walking patrols of the overall Parking Lot
- Officers should pay special attention to Associate parking, Disabled, Motorcycle, Visitor, special parking areas and stripped areas for parking violations or Wrecker services on site.
- The Rover must be familiar with the Honda campus and be able to access and respond to any area in the plant including the emergency operation of the Links.
- Provide traffic control every day during shift changes and other high-volume traffic.
- Raise and lower the American, Alabama and Honda flags for various holidays and reasons.
- On weekends issue and receive Pool Cars and Badges.
- Set up barricades and provide traffic control for special events.
- At the end of shift, the Parking Lot Rover will inspect their vehicle for cleanliness, damage or needed repairs and report any issues to the Shift Supervisor.
- Provide assistance and direction to AAP Associates and AAP Visitor’s entering or leaving the property, deterring unauthorized traffic and redirecting deliveries/vendors as needed.
- Provide additional assistance not limited to changing flat tires, jumping vehicles etc. Security personnel will not attempt to unlock vehicles; however, the number of a licensed locksmith will be provided at the request of the associate or visitor. List all assists provided on your SEI Assist Log.
- Assist Local Police with any situation in or around the parking lot. Enter all information in the DAR and notify the Shift Supervisor who will notify AAP Central and file an Incident Report in accordance with the SEI Handbook.
- The Parking Lot Rover will assist in escorting emergency vehicle’s entering/exiting AAP property and will take the most direct route to the emergency site. The Parking Lot Rover will assist in emergency situations that should arise in accordance with the SEI Emergency Guidelines or as directed by the Shift supervisor.
