Role Summary
As a Renewals Success Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer retention and maximizing revenue through the management of subscription renewals. You will work closely with our Customer Success Managers (CSMs), Revops and Deal Desk teams to execute a seamless renewal process, address customer concerns, and identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities. This role requires excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills to meet retention goals while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Location : US Based fully Remote
Compensation : Base salary up to $60K $8K in annual bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Renewal Management & Digital Execution – Leverage your strong organizational skills to drive timely, accurate subscription renewals through digital communication. Manage seamless account renewals while efficiently handling several hundred accounts.
- Customer Engagement : Utilize your excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with CSMs and the Customer Support team, addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction prior to the renewal period.
- Data Management : Apply your analytical mindset to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer renewal statuses, communications, and outcomes in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), interpreting data and identifying trends in customer behavior.
- Risk Mitigation : Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented mindset to identify at-risk accounts and collaborate with internal teams to implement retention strategies that address potential churn.
- Growth Opportunities : Employ your sales acumen to partner with CSMs in identifying and communicating opportunities for additional product adoption or upgrades during the renewal process, focusing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Reporting : Provide regular reports and updates on renewal rates, churn risks, and customer feedback to leadership and relevant teams, showcasing your ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Customer Communication : Deliver clear and professional communication regarding renewal timelines, pricing and contract details to customers, demonstrating your negotiation skills and ability to address customer concerns effectively.
- Strategy Development : Develop and implement strategies to improve renewal rates and customer satisfaction, showcasing your problem-solving skills and ability to drive positive outcomes.
- Performance / Goal Oriented : Consistently meet or exceed established renewal rate targets and revenue goals.
