Job title - Failure Analysis Hardware Engineer
Location - San Jose, CA (onsite)
The position involves the candidate working in Client's Lab, participating and contributing in all phases of hardware diagnostics development, from design inception through coding and delivery to manufacturing.
Key Skills :
- Board design skill sets required
- Working on schematic capture
- Brought up board in the lab
- Signal capture tools
- Troubleshoot if a board is not working
- Use diagnostic software to bring up a board
- Anything else is a plus
- Comfortable with lab equipment
- Schematics - work with CAD team, not necessarily design
- 2-5 years experience in a similar field is preferred
- Familiar with drawn diagnostics software on board and follow diagnosis
- Basic troubleshooting
- Concert RCAD
- Some familiarity with board
We are not looking for expertise in ASIC components (FPGA components from board design point of view, not RTL or coding). Networking background is not required.
