About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Acquisition Manager for USMC FMS to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical acquisition and management support to the USMC Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acquisition support, with experience in developing acquisition-related documents, including RFIs, J&As, and IGCEs. You will also demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with government representatives, contractors, and stakeholders.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Technical Proposal Evaluations: Analyze vendor proposals focusing on labor categories, material types/quantities, and cost reasonableness. Deliver a comprehensive Technical Evaluation package suitable to be used by the USMC Contracting team for development of a negotiating position.
- Test Support: Develop and evaluate test plans and procedures, analyze test results, and propose courses of action to resolve open issues.
- Data Management: Maintain tracking tools and databases for program deliverables, risk management, and technical evaluations.
- Logistics Coordination: Facilitate logistics planning, coordinate with OEMs, and review equipment sustainment plans to ensure compliance with FMS case agreements.
