Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the used car sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales performance and inventory levels.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including upselling and negotiation techniques.
- Foster strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and customer service.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure the dealership maintains optimal stock levels.
- Conduct training sessions to improve team skills in automotive sales and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive sales and dealership management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
- Proficiency in retail math and inventory management
- Demonstrated success in outbound sales and customer service
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales pipeline management
- Ability to negotiate and upsell effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Understanding of the dealership financing procedures
- Ability to process paperwork and loan documentation for customers with credit issues, low credit scores, and credit concerns
- Communicate all problem deals to management immediately
- Address missing stipulations communicated from lender immediately
- Be knowledgeable of state regulations regarding finance and the fair credit reporting act
- Train and supervise sales staff
- Structure deals in accordance with lender and dealership guidelines
- Book-out deals accurately
- Perform credit interview, prepare credit application
- Verify accuracy of all material information on the credit application and submit to lender
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information
- Disclose financial information to customers
- Maintain good lender relations
- Maintain a lender guide of programs you are currently using and obtain a working knowledge of them
- Evaluate new lender programs
- Rehash deals with lenders to maximize profits
- Maintain current inventory log and make recommendations to management
- Help move old inventory
- Maintain a call-in log and contracts in transit log (funding package)
Requirements
- Automotive experience
- Finance management experience with special finance
- Knowledge of lenders and financing customers with low credit scores
- Ability to set and achieve sales goals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow structured processes to ensure legal compliance while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, management and co-workers
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $139,850.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 45 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Choose your own hours
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
