What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trim Manager position at Seed & Smith?
Reports To: Director of Cultivation & Asst. Director of Cultivation Position Duties & Responsibilities (included but not limited to): Manage the harvest & trim employees throughout the harvest process at both facilities: harvest and dry trim Maintain compliance set by the Marijuana Enforcement Division Maintain all records for compliance and data tracking set by the MED and Seed and Smith (Metrc, Seed & Smith logs including pre-log, final logs, transfer sheets, and excel spread sheet data) Monitor dry room environment to guarantee proper drying techniques are being used
Oversee placement of plant material in the dry rooms to guarantee organization and compliance.
Regularly inspect wet and dry plants for quality control
Regularly inspects storage environments
Develop calendars and meet deadlines set by management to meet the needs of the supply chain
Monitor curing process for increased quality
Work with the contract trim company to insure accurate relay of invoice numbers
Guarantee waste is being disposed of properly
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and functionality of equipment, trim and dry rooms
Make sure policy and compliance is followed with fresh frozen product Guarantee all supply quantities are maintained Guarantee that all trim material has been treated with the Rad Source
Keeps up to date with state mandated flower testing procedures and handles all flower testing sample collection and submissions. Keeps flower testing calendar/spreadsheet up to date and organize the incoming data from testing laboratories to keep the facility compliant and our strains process always validated. Competencies & Qualifications: This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to work in a trial-and-error environment. Interpersonal skills – being able to communicate and work well with others – are a necessity. Time management and organizational skills are essential while being comfortable adapting to changes in the environment.Ability to maintain and troubleshoot structures and materials.
