Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in groundskeeping and landscape management, with the ability to lead and supervise a team effectively. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing various landscaping projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires a hands-on approach to lawn care, irrigation, and tree care while fostering a positive work environment. Chemical applicator license is a strong benefit. If you don't have one we can help you obtain one. Health and dental benefits after 60 days, Vacation after 1 year.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team in various landscaping tasks, including lawn care, garden maintenance, and tree care.
- Plan and execute irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for plant health.
- Maintain equipment and tools necessary for landscaping operations, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Build and maintain landscapes according to design specifications while adhering to safety protocols.
- Train new team members on best practices in groundskeeping and landscape maintenance.
- Monitor project progress and provide feedback to team members to improve efficiency and quality of work.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with services provided.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams in a landscaping or groundskeeping environment.
- Proficient in lawn care techniques, including mowing, fertilization, and pest control.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and maintenance practices.
- Experience in garden design and maintenance, including planting, pruning, and seasonal clean-up.
- Ability to perform tree care tasks safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members alike.
- Capability to build structures or features within landscapes as needed.

Qualifications
- Non-CDL Class C
- Driver's License
- Forklift Certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
