About the Role
This position emphasizes creative design while maintaining exceptional customer service to deliver top-tier customer experiences. You’ll have the chance to shape the creative vision of each project while supporting customers through the process.
Design Focus :
Leverage industry-standard CAD software : Use software such as AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, or Fusion 360 to create precise models, technical blueprints, and detailed design layouts. Utilize Adobe Illustrator for pattern development and customization, ensuring accuracy in upholstery design. Experience with CLO 3D or Optitex for fabric simulation is a plus, allowing for realistic visualizations of materials and textures. Additionally, familiarity with 3D scanning and CNC cutting is highly desirable for creating custom, high-precision upholstery solutions.Material Expertise : Develop custom designs using materials like leather, vinyl, and fabric, ensuring every project reflects our craftsmanship and attention to detail.Innovative Solutions : Balance aesthetics with functionality by offering creative solutions that align with customer needs and technical feasibility.Collaborate and Create : Work with customers to understand their vision and translate it into stunning, functional designs.Customer Service :
Be the Face of Wichterman’s : Assist walk-in customers and handle inquiries via phone, text, and email with professionalism and enthusiasm.End-to-End Project Management : Provide estimates, process payments, and ensure seamless coordination between customers and technicians.Collaborate for Success : Partner with the production team to confirm project feasibility, timelines, and customer satisfaction.What Sets You Up for Success?
