Dairy Equipment Service Manager

Seehafer Refrigeration is a leader in conventional and robotic milking systems service and installation. We are looking to grow our operation based in Sparta Wisconsin serving dairy farms in Western, South Western and Eastern Minnesota. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer interaction & satisfaction

 Ensures our customers are fully serviced in terms of advice, service and maintenance. Determines objectives and KPI’s to achieve best possible performance for the highest customer satisfaction.

 Monitors the results of customer satisfaction/NPS and the results of individuals related to service management, handles complaints, informs technicians about possible solutions and ensures follow up.

 Carries our preventative and corrective maintenance of dairy equipment, compressors, and peripherals

 Takes care of mandatory annual inspections and checks, the installation of Hardware, and firmware updates

 Provides 24/7 customer support and assistance during on-call periods, diagnoses breakdowns, and organizes a quick repair onsite or by phone

 Provide advice to end users, suggesting improvements when necessary

 Build and maintain customer relationships

 Refurbish used Lely equipment and make it ready for re-sale

 Manage the final phase of newly installed products, make final adjustments, and prepare for activation

 New installations: Check settings and advise on the desired settings and customer-specific reports

Business support & administration

 Maintain timely administration of parts used in the service registration app and the work carried out

 Service Van: Manage the spare parts, warranty parts, and consumable stock. Keep van organized and clean

 Engage and participate in Lely Center Service meetings

Stakeholder Management

 Identify structural issues and possible product improvements, communicating information from the field to the Manager or relevant stakeholders in the business

 Identify cross and upselling opportunities, communicate feedback and customer information to relevant colleagues

 Engage and Participate in regular technical meetings, share best practices and knowledge with Service Technicians and Farm Management Support Specialists

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience

 Five years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 Technical knowledge: Mechanical, electrical, automation, and pneumatics

 Knowledge of computers, PC networking, and Business communications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
