Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper
Portage County non-profit is looking to add to their team! This fun, busy, small office has a need for a part-time bookkeeper/administrative assistant. If you are a whiz with numbers, but also enjoy the people side of things, this is the perfect fit for you!
Position – Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper
Job Location – Stevens Point, WI
Starting Date – ASAP
Employment Term – Temp to hire
Employment Type – Part time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift – flexible hours
Starting Pay – $18 to $21/hr BOE
Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 3 years’ experience with QuickBooks/bookkeeping
In this role, you will be working closely with executive leaders to provide administrative support for the organization in customer service, bookkeeping and other various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- with the use of QuickBooks, reconcile all monthly accounts as well as document income and expenditures
- assist leaders in drafting and creating an annual budget
- entering monthly payroll
- tracking data across multiple platforms
- scheduling appointments and helping to manage event planning
- completing year end reports
- maintaining all office supply inventory
- working with customers to track engagement and advertisement
- other administrative and bookkeeping duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have 3 years of experience working in a role using QuickBooks accurately
- Must have experience with Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience in Publisher, Canva, WordPress is helpful, not required.
