Position: CNC Horizontal Lathe Machinist
Job Location: Slinger, WI
Start Date: ASAP

Work Hours (Shift): 1st Shift
Starting Pay: Depends on experience

Required Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience: Minimum three years experience.
CNC Horizontal Lathe Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining CNC horizontal lathes to produce machined parts according to blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up CNC lathes selecting tooling, fixtures and materials based upon work orders and blueprints.
- Load and modify CNC programs making necessary offsets and adjustments to ensure accurate part production.
- Perform various machining operations such as turning, facing, grooving and threading.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years experience operating CNC horizontal lathes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerances and CNC programming.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues with machine operation or part quality.
