POSITION – CNC Machine Operator
JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (6am-4:30pm, Mon-Thurs)
STARTING PAY – Up to $20 /hour based on experience

EDUCATION– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1 to 3 years related experience in a metal fabrication setting; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Machine Operator I is responsible for operating machines in accordance with program and product specifications to produce small to medium-sized components, either as finished products or as parts of larger assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Operates CNC machines to manufacture production parts and assemblies.
- Positions parts accurately using various fastening devices.
- Utilizes hand-held, electrical, and pneumatic tools as needed.
- Operates lift equipment when required.
- Employs precision measuring tools as necessary.
- Verifies the accuracy of completed products or batch inspections as needed.
- Reports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions, or non-compliant products to the Department Lead.
- Keeps the work area and equipment clean and organized while adhering to safety regulations.
- Completes all necessary paperwork, including in-process or carbon copy production sheets.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to operate various hand tools, understand mechanical processes, and possess knowledge of electronics and basic hydraulics.
- Capable of performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance and repair manuals, and procedural guides.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout your shift.
