Converting Manager
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Converting Manager to lead their converting operations. As the Converting Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the converting process, from raw material intake to finished product shipment. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize production efficiency, ensure product quality, and maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Position – Converting Manager
Job Location – Appleton, WI
Starting Date – ASAP
Employment Term – Direct Hire
Employment Type – Full time
Work Hours (Shift) – Must be flexible to work a rotating 8 hour shift schedule on all 3 shifts.
Starting Pay – $60 to $80K BOE

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – 5 years experience in a leadership role is required
Responsibilities
- Participates in continuous improvement and effectively communicate opportunities to improve efficiencies and effectiveness for this position
- Schedule orders to proper machines and ensures production floor feedback is accurately recorded in system
-Delegate employees to tasks when needed and Ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Respond, record, and investigate accidents and administer first aid
- Supply tooling and resources to employees and machines and Assist scheduling personnel on overtime
- Make decisions of customer orders, maintenance on machines, and employee training
- Participate and facilitate communication meetings with employees pertaining to safety, toolbox discussions, daily production walks, preventative maintenance meetings and monthly Crew Leader meetings
Qualifications
-Must have prior converting experience
-Must have worked in a manufacturing, leadership role for 5 years
-Excellent communication skills are required
