Job Location – Durand, WI
Starting Date – May 5th, 2025
Employment Term – Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (8:00am – 4:00pm, Mon-Fri with rotating Saturday plus On-Call availability)
Starting Pay – $22-41/Hour

Required Experience – Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in the food / dairy industry
Seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment failures, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards in a food/dairy manufacturing environment. This role requires expertise in 480V electrical systems, VFD drives, PLC controls, boiler operations, and sanitary welding. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or step into a leadership role when needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform Preventative Maintenance – Conduct routine maintenance and follow scheduled plans to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Diagnose & Repair Equipment – Troubleshoot failures and execute corrective actions on mechanical, electrical (480V), boiler, and VFD drive systems.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance – Follow all GMPs, safety protocols, and company sanitation codes for personnel, equipment, and facilities.
- Support Process Improvements – Evaluate equipment performance, propose modifications, and provide detailed parts/equipment lists.
- Emergency & Leadership Support – Be available for emergency calls, step into a lead role when needed, and maintain a proactive, self-sufficient approach.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in the food/dairy industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of boiler operations, sanitary welding (stainless steel), and fabrication.
- Electrical Expertise: Experience working with 480V electrical systems, VFD drives, and PLC controls.
- Blueprint & Schematic Reading: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Problem-Solving & Independence: Self-starter with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment with minimal supervision.
