Job Location – Eau Claire, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Direct Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – Days (Mon-Fri 6:30am – 4pm Sat based on needs)
Starting Pay – $24/Hour

Required Education – High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
Required Experience – Prior experience with metals is preferred
The Inspector ensures a positive, efficient, and safe experience for all incoming drivers and customers. They are responsible for inspecting each load, grading materials, and coordinating with crane operators to maintain a smooth, continuous flow of trucks. Effective communication and multitasking are key to providing excellent customer service and keeping operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Inspect inbound loads for source control, grading, deductions, and documentation.
- Provide customer-friendly service during inspection and unloading processes.
- Record inspection data and conduct scheduled checks for non-conforming items.
- Communicate with crane and loader operators to optimize traffic flow and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safe work practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in metals preferred but not required.
- Ability to interact with customers and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to assess materials accurately.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills to manage various tasks simultaneously.
