We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated Shop Person, CDL Driver, and Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating trucks and heavy equipment, performing light mechanical maintenance, and tracking tools and equipment using a computer. POSITION – Shop Person | CDL Driver | Heavy Equipment Operator
JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, Wisconsin with travel to various worksites
STARTING DATE – ASAP
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Direct Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, flexible start time between 6:00am–7:00am) *OT more common in the Summer months
STARTING PAY – $28-$32/hour DOE
REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or equivalent required, technical degree preferred, or equivalent, relevant work history
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Prior experience driving truck and trailer, Valid CDL with clean driving record, experience with heavy equipment operation

Job Duties:
- Operate and drive a ¾ ton or 1-ton truck with a trailer
- Properly chain down equipment for transport
- Perform light mechanical maintenance
- Operate heavy equipment, including:
- Forklift
- Skid steer
- Mini excavator
- Use a computer for tracking equipment and tools
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Travel to various worksites as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record (MVR check required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable driving and maneuvering trucks with trailers
- Experience operating forklifts, skid steers, and mini excavators
- Basic mechanical maintenance skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable using a computer for equipment tracking
