What are the responsibilities and job description for the TOOL AND DIE MAKER position at SEEK Careers Staffing?
Leading sheet metal manufacturer hiring an experienced Tool & Die Maker to help support production by building new stamping dies, weld, and gage fixtures.
Must be able to use and select appropriate materials and tool steel as required.
Capable of doing change overs and tool & die maintenance will be a daily responsibility.
You will use blueprints to meet product specifications.
Having the ability to calculate materials to verify specifications is also required.
Qualifications: 7 yrs experience working w/stamping dies in a metal stamping facility, change overs, and T&D Maintenance. Must have completed an apprenticeship program and have certification. Must be able to program and run CNC Mills. Your choice of 1st or 2nd shift. (Training on 1st if your preferred shift is 2nd.)
