Position Overview
At SEEN Safety we are on a growth trajectory and expanding rapidly on a global basis. This is a unique opportunity to be part of our continued journey by leading and growing our existing presence in the USA and Canada. Our Head Office is based in Wellington New Zealand, and we have staff located in Australia, Thailand, USA and the UK, dedicated to global sales.
The role of Head of Sales is a newly created position (Houston based) and responsible for the sales of our SEEN Safety System in North USA and Canada. You will have sales revenue targets for your own strategic accounts, together with an overarching responsibility to lead, coach and mentor your team to achieve their sales targets and KPI’s.
This is a senior leadership position reporting to the CEO and the Head of Sales - LATAM, working closely with the Head of Sales - APAC, and other members of the SEEN Senior Leadership Team. With many existing multi-national accounts in place, there will be a combination of strategic key account development, and new business and sector opportunities with your wider sales team.
This is a remote position where you will have access to flexible office solutions and co-working spaces to help with team collaboration. There will be some travel required a few times per month, so being within reasonable travel distance to Houston Airport is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading, coaching and mentoring your sales team to achieve targets & KPI’s.
- Developing and nurturing cross-border customer accounts.
- Collaborating with the wider SEEN Safety leadership team.
- Providing hands-on support to your customers, engaging with all levels from executives to facilitating factory floor toolbox talks.
- Work with industry regulators, business partners and others to develop strategy and explore new business opportunities.
- Identify and engage with SEEN’s channel partners (e.g. forklift/machinery supply companies), as well as state regulators, industry associations and advocacy groups.
About You
You will be an accomplished and high-achieving B2B sales leader, ideally from a background in heavy mobile machinery, and/or the health and safety industry. You should have demonstrable experience in achieving sales targets and KPI’s, ideally have worked in the channel partnership space, and are comfortable with corporate customers and working with senior executives. You will be a data driven and tech savvy sales leader, who is familiar with optimizing a CRM to generate enquiry and convert leads into business.
Experience in managing remote teams is highly desirable, and you will need a clean driver’s license and valid work permit.

Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
