We are recruiting for an experienced and strategic CFO on behalf of our client, a growing and innovative property & casualty insurance carrier. This role is ideal for a collaborative, forward-thinking leader looking to drive meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a core member of the Senior Management Team, reporting directly to the President.
- Lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Oversee accounting, audits, compliance, and financial reporting under both STAT and GAAP.
- Manage statutory and tax reporting, including premium tax and federal income tax filings.
- Handle reinsurance accounting, investment guidelines, and job costing.
- Lead regulatory, rating agency, and Board of Directors reporting and communication.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address challenges, resolve issues, and support business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
- CPA, MBA, or Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 years of relevant P&C Insurance industry experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience with IPOs.
