POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Director is responsible for the oversight of all operations of a Southeast Eye Specialists Center, which includes developing strategies and implementing plans to improve and standardize all aspects of operations. Implementing, managing and evaluating operational processes and procedures, in accordance with the standards and procedures set out by the Organizations leadership. Ensuring that operational processes stay within agreed upon budgets and timelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following:
Develop and implement strategies aimed at promoting the organizations mission and goals
Create complete business plans for the attainment of goals and objectives set by the board of directors
Build an effective team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching to subordinate managers and staff
Ensure adherence of the organizations daily activities and long-term plans to established policies and legal guidelines
Analyze financial and non-financial reports to understand the organizations position and opportunities for improvement and/or growth
Look for strategic opportunities to grow the practice; including establishing satellite locations and offices to increase our ability to serve patients in surrounding communities
Maintain relationships with external business associates, including vendors, insurance carriers, and referring physicians
Oversee Center staffing levels and assignments to ensure operations run as desired
Direct marketing, sales, & networking efforts for the Center, as needed upon professional judgement.
Maintain confidentiality of patient, staff and company information
Maintains knowledge of and follows policies, procedures, Code of Conduct, and all Federal and state rules and regulations related to the position.
Completes all required compliance training.
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has supervisory responsibility for all Center staff, including external sales representatives.
Provides compliance education/oversite to department staff and ensures completion of required compliance training.
Provides day-to-day monitoring to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, Code of Conduct, and all Federal and state rules and regulations.ILLS, & ABILITIES

Proven success in managing a healthcare practice
Ability to demonstrate understanding of financial and performance statements (e.g.,. income statements,
payroll reports, practice management dashboards)
Experience in developing strategies and plans
Ability to influence and gain support from teammates outside of the direct reporting relationship, including
doctors
Demonstrated ability to problem solve in a fluid and often ambiguous environment
An analytical mind capable of out-of-the-box thinking to solve problems
Outstanding organization and leadership skills, including the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor
outside sales representatives
Excellent communication (oral and written) and public speaking skills
Must be willing to work some evenings
Ability to speak, read, and write in English
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Ability to concentrate, think, and learn
Ability to hear, see, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, push, and pull.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administrator or related field is preferred;
equivalent education and/or experience in job related activities will be considered. Applicants must have experience
in managing a healthcare practice.
