Position Overview :
SEG Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about contributing to a greener world, eager to grow professionally, and possesses strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities include :
- Invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and GL entries.
- Perform month-end close process, ensuring accurate journal entry preparation and analysis of account balances.
- Contribute significantly to the preparation of financial statements and reports, emphasizing accuracy and US GAAP compliance.
- Prepare account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Play a key role in reviewing physical inventory, reconciling variances in cost of goods sold, and maintaining fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate seamlessly with national or international departments such as sales and marketing.
- Day-to-day banking operations, including wire transfers, ACH, and bank account reconciliations.
- Calculate sales commissions.
- Entries for payroll, expense reimbursements, and benefits.
- Accruals, loan interest, and intercompany entries as needed.
