Purpose of position: To assist the Quality Department with administrative duties involved in maintaining the Technical and Training records.
Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation).
- Calculates and verifies times and cycles for assemblies.
- Provides historical data to Production personnel.
- Builds the final records package in accordance with customer requirements and internal policies and procedures.
- Ensures the accuracy and completeness of the final records packages, including the final airworthiness certificates.
- Coordinates the delivery of the final records package with Sales personnel.
- Maintains a timely and accurate flow of information to floor to prevent costly mistakes.
- Reviews compliance requirements in accordance with approved technical data.
- Maintains archive and database of completed records packages.
- Enters and retrieves data from the company’s ERP system.
- Searches and retrieves information from files, manuals, computer records, and other documents in response to specific requests.
- Assists technical records users in researching information used to prepare reports, correspondence, instructions, procedures, etc.
- Maintains personnel training records using training software, and coordinates with managers and leads when training requirements are due.
- Assists the Quality Department in various departmental administrative tasks
- Travels as required
- Attends all safety and health training, as required, in a timely manner
- Works when scheduled and complies with company attendance policy
- Works overtime as needed
- Observes and practices all safety procedures and personal policies (e.g. Safety-glasses, ear plugs, face shields etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using fractions and decimals; compute percentages, ratios, rates and interpret graphs.
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Must be able to comply with OSHA requirements and standards to properly wear all applicable PPE.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. regularly and more, with assistance occasionally.
- Must be able to see with or without corrective lenses.
- Must be able to hear with or without aids.
- Must be able to use hands, wrists, and fingers repetitively.
- Must be able to sit for an extended period of time and to walk around facility occasionally.
- Must be able to walk around regularly using steps occasionally
- Ability to provide verification of US citizenship or permanent residency to satisfy ITAR/EAR restrictions.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with and manage diverse groups and individuals.
- Must regularly be able to squat, stoop, kneel, bend, twist and stand
- Must regularly be able to reach overhead
Experience and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. Advanced Microsoft computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. One-year experience in technical requirements or records for FAR Part 145 repair station preferred. Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Work conditions:
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. Noise is generally loud.
