Segra is searching for a dynamic and experienced Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis Capital Reporting to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity within any one of our markets, Virginia, NC or SC.
The Manager – FP&A Capital Reporting supports business operations and contributes to projects within the Finance, Planning, and Analysis (FP&A) department with a focus on Capital or Revenue and Cost of Revenue. The position has exposure to functional leaders and collects and presents data in an executive friendly format. The manager oversees high level analysis at the corporate level and contributes in the areas of business planning, analysis, forecasting, reporting, M&A/valuation, and ad-hoc FP&A projects as required. The position could be specifically responsible for any of the following:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Monthly reporting, forecasting, modeling and variance analysis for respective areas of focus.
Monthly Operating Report Contribution and Assembly.
Provide direction and leadership to Sr. Financial Analysts in respective areas of focus.
Customer/opportunity capital analysis, segmentation, and reporting
Monitor individual project spend versus approved budget
Integration of acquired company data for analysis and reporting
Revenue and Cost of Revenue
Track relevant EBITDA improvement efforts (e.g. savings initiatives for telecommunications/fiber infrastructure industry costs including type II)
Prepare schedules detailing impact of Jump-Off variances and known Risks & Opportunities
Integration of acquired company data for analysis and reporting
Ad-hoc requests
Qualifications:
Experience: 5 years’ experience preferred in related positions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills and ability to do data mining.
Experience with month end Financial Reporting/Journal Entry creation and variance analysis.
Experience with financial modeling.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong business acumen and the ability to work with cross functional groups.
Strong computer skills required, MS Office, specifically Excel. Dynamics and Sisense experience is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree: Business Administration or Finance required,
MBA preferred
