Job Description
The Engine Mechanic troubleshoots, performs maintenance, and repairs aircraft engines and related aircraft components.
Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on engines and related aircraft problems
Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
Remove / install / replace aircraft engines and accessories
Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
Assist with performing complete engine runs
Operate ground support equipment
Assist with off-aircraft component repair
Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
5 years of experience on heavy aircraft maintenance
Experience in A / C turbine engine maintenance
Experience on either corporate or commercial jet aircraft (preferred)
Tug qualified (preferred)
Forklift qualified (preferred)
Ground Support Equipment qualified (preferred)
Basic PC skills
