Segway is looking for an experienced and high-energy Social Media Content
Strategist/Copywriter to join our Marketing team. This role will report to the
Social Media Manager. The primary function of this role is to help develop an
engaging social media presence with all of our audiences and be a brand
champion, ensuring the brand’s voice and vision is executed properly in all of
our marketing efforts. Primary duties
include developing and implementing informed content strategies tailored to the
strengths of various social media platforms to increase Segway’s brand
awareness and affinity.

Responsibilities
· Playing a key role in multi-channel
content creation, including creating, writing, publishing, and coordinating
with designers, editors, and others to create on-brand graphics, videos, and
other assets.
· Understanding, developing, and
maintaining a consistent brand voice that aligns with Segway’s mission, vision,
and values — and ensuring all online and offline content fits this established
brand.
· Planning and maintaining editorial
calendar
· Developing key content marketing and
social media content
· Contribute to company social media
profiles, including strategizing, writing, scheduling/posting, and responding
on a variety of channels.
· Managing foundational platforms and
recurring tasks to keep the initiatives on track and moving forward.
· Assist in community management –
responding to comments and questions received on social media accounts.
Confidently fend off requests asking for a free gokart.
· Identify target audiences’ preference
and produce tailored content
Requirements – To quality you must:
· Have min. 3 years of relevant
experience
· Possess excellent copywriting skills
· Possess insanely strong written and
verbal communication skills
· Have light experience with graphic
design, photo editing, photography, and video editing
· Have a fast-paced work ethic and
can-do attitude
· Kick ass every day
Preferred Qualifications – a plus but not required
· Content marketing and writing
experience in a distinctive brand voice
· Experience working with global
companies
· Fluent in Spanish, Mandarin, and/or
French
· Background in micromobility, EV,
e-bikes
· Familiarity with Sprouts Socials
