Duties/Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex tax engagements and ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Display responsibility for overall client service by encouraging the team to adhere to policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate ability to locate a problem and come up with potential solutions.
- Lead and participate in training events to strengthen technical knowledge and leadership skills. Share knowledge and empower team members to become leaders.
- Prioritize client satisfaction by anticipating needs, proposing solutions, and providing excellent service. Solicit new client relationships.
- Monitor project profitability and budget to ensure engagements are completed efficiently and profitably.
- Perform thorough research and analyze issues before arriving at conclusions to resolve complex tax issues effectively.
- Participate in business development activities, nurturing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
- Work directly with client's attorney or broker, taxing authority agents and other third-party representatives.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America
- Ability to work overtime during certain seasonal periods.
Travel:
This role may entail local travel between Seidel Schroder locations.
