Seitron Americas Inc., a growing innovative instrumentation manufacturer located in Newtown, PA, is seeking a Full-time, highly motivated Instrumentation Service Technician for our growing Service & Calibration Department.
Summary:
The Instrumentation service technician will be part of a growing team to perform timely maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and calibrations of a variety of different testing instruments including combustion gas analyzers, leak detectors, AC/Refrigeration instruments, controls and personal gas monitors. This technician will also be responsible for performing instrument evaluations, updating the RMA ticket system, completing evaluation documents, assisting with new product configurations, and assisting with inventory management and customer service.
The ideal individual will have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED with technical school or college experience. Technical inclination, positive attitude, and motivation to learn are required. Training will be provided, and questions will be encouraged.
The hours position are 8:30am - 5:00pm. Mon-Fri
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performing evaluations and repairs of analyzers, accessories, and components.
- Performing analyzer measurement verifications using laboratory equipment.
- Completing calibration adjustment procedures for new and RMA analyzers.
- Updating RMA tickets and completing RMA evaluation forms.
- Replacing sensors, components, and accessories as needed.
- Assisting with troubleshooting and customer service.
- Assisting with new product configurations.
- Assisting with inventory management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Technical School/College experience preferred.
- Degree in Engineering or related field and/or Previous experience in instrumentation service industry is a plus
- Technically inclined & motivated to learn.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude is a plus
- Customer service oriented.
- Technical Support knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Experience in Customer Service and Customer support interaction & communication
- Skills in Microsoft Office, Email, ERP, CRM and service platforms
- Able to pass Background Check & Drug and Alcohol Screening
