Job Description
Our client is seeking a talented Assistant Controller to help advance their financial strategies and financial analysis. This role requires a strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the firm's growth and success through overseeing large-scale deliverables that impact stakeholders, both internal and external.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations including cash, funds' investments, and company transactions.
- Develop financial models to forecast investment performance and risk.
- Prepare and review financial statements and monthly NAV statements, including audit cycle and tax information.
- Collaborate with investment analysts and portfolio managers.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including regulatory changes and reporting requirements.
- Support ad-hoc tasks including process automation and improvement and onboarding new platforms or products.
Key Qualifications
- 3 years accounting experience
- CPA preferred but not required
- Knowledge of advanced Excel functions (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
- Proficiency in Mandarin preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Salary : $115,000 - $150,000
