Job Title: Director of Corporate Development
Compensation: $190,000 - $210,000 plus up to $100,000 bonus
Company Summary: We are currently partnered with a publicly traded, multi-billion dollar in revenue, global manufacturing company in Miami, Florida aiming to hire a Director Corporate Development. This role will be responsible for originating new acquisition targets and successfully building relationships with sellers. This opportunity will allow you to be with a highly acquisitive group closing more than five M&A transactions each year with a fast growing industry leader.
The Director of Corporate Development will be responsible for:
- Report directly to the Head of M&A and operate with autonomy
- Develop meaningful relationships and identification of acquisition targets
- Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and valuations for potential acquisition targets, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives
- Assist in developing and executing corporate strategy for M&A activity
- Work on special projects as needed and extensive travel
The Director of Corporate Development should have the following qualifications:
- 8 years of experience within Investment Banking, Corporate Development, M&A, and/or proven success in a business development oriented role.
- Proven deal experience originating new acquisition targets
- Experience within the manufacturing, diversified industrials, or adjacent industry
- Operate with high integrity, discretion, self-motivation, strategic, and creative mindset.
