Senior C# Developer | Leading Asset Management Firm | Boston (Hybrid)
This client is searching for a senior member to join the Risk Management team. A successful candidate will have dedicated experience in C#, .Net, as well as top tier communication and system design skills. This role will also be looking for someone experienced in relational databases as well as SQL. As a senior member of the team (5-10 years), you will have a nice chance to grow into a leadership role, to help scale the team, as the firm continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage C# and .NET to design, develop, and maintain software that enhances risk management and portfolio analytics
- Communicate with necessary parties to ensure all business requirements are gathered and met
- Ensure proper documentation and system design to drive software applications moving forward
- Proactively identify areas of enhancement, for example scalability or performance
- Maintain a high standard of quality in coding, participating in code reviews
Requirements:
- 5 years of software development experience, ideally supporting risk management or portfolio analytics systems (risk modeling engines, reporting systems or OMS systems)
- Dedicated use of C# and .NET (.Net 8 ideally) from a language perspective
- Cloud native application development, ideally AWS
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with members of the team ranging in seniority
