Overview:
This client is a leading asset management firm with growth on the horizon! Off the back of a few successful years, this small team here in Boston is scaling up to continue to enhance the overall firms performance. This role will act as a primary support member for the Boston office, which includes Quant Development, Research, and Portfolio Analytics professionals. You will be working very closely with the firms user base, delivering white glove service towards day to day technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to common desktop issues such as troubleshooting and resolution of primarily Windows and MacOS systems
- Hardware, OS, and Software Installation support including device replacement, malware removal, and more
- First tier user support member providing in person and remote support to dedicated user base
Requirements:
- 5 years in a technical support oriented position
- Experience with: O365, OneDrive, VPN's and Networking principles (DNS, DHCP), Microsoft Hyper V, JAMF for MacOS, Powershell, and Linux/Mac command line tooling
- Comfortable with ticketing systems and respective troubleshooting and resolution
- Top tier communication skills
- Time management in a fast paced environment
