My client, an alternative investment manager, is seeking an individual Senior Operations Associate to join their growing team. This role will report to the Trading Operations Manager and work closely with the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in a challenging accounting or hedge fund operations role, a plus if they have experience in fixed income, settlement of private exchanges, legal review, and have a degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistical Modeling, Calculus, Physics, Applied Math or related disciplines. This role is 5 days onsite in Greenwich, CT or San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide meaningful value and advancements in efficiency within the back office function
- Assist in various data analytics, software implementation, and process improvement projects
- You are comfortable performing reconciliations and being proactive to ensure smooth trade settlement
Qualifications:
- You have a GPA of 3.5 or above
- 4-6 years of experience in a challenging accounting or hedge fund operations role
- A plus if you have experience in fixed income, settlement of private exchanges, legal review
- You have a degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistical Modeling, Calculus, Physics, Applied Math or related disciplines (bachelor’s, master’s degree)
