Job Description:
The client is currently seeking a Managing Director for their Technology group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for originating and executing M&A and Capital Markets transactions, with flexible location options available for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Origination: Lead efforts to identify and pursue new M&A and Capital Markets opportunities.
- Deal Execution Oversight: Manage the complete deal process, including preparation of marketing materials and conducting due diligence.
- Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and deal referral sources.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior bankers, supporting their professional growth.
- Recruitment Assistance: Help in recruiting both senior and junior bankers to enhance our team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Significant M&A and Capital Markets experience in the Tech Space at a middle market, boutique, regional, or bulge bracket investment bank, with a proven track record of sourcing and completing multiple middle market M&A and capital markets transactions over the past 3-5 years. Ideally generate $2mm - $3mm in revenue a year
- Client Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain effective client relationships.
- Team Leadership: Experience managing junior bankers and overseeing M&A processes.
