Job Title: Vice President of Finance
Location: New York City
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Compensation: 180k to 240k Base Bonus
Job Summary: A growing Fintech is looking to add a senior finance role to their growing firm. The Vice President of Finance is a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the controller, accounting team, and finance team. This role involves strategic planning, financial management, and ensuring the company's financial health. The VP of Finance will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to drive the company's financial strategy and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and financial management skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
Salary : $180,000 - $240,000
