Job Summary
Select Bank is seeking a Deposit Operations Fraud Specialist to join our team. As the primary point of contact for bank staff, the Deposit Operations Fraud Specialist plays a crucial role in managing customer card claims and fraud dispute requests and resolution. This position involves monitoring and documenting cases, analyzing trends, and proactively preventing potential fraud situations. Additionally, the specialist supports day-to-day operations within the Deposit Operations team.
Responsibilities:
1. Investigate & Resolve Customer Disputes and Fraud Claims:
o Receive and conduct research into customer dispute and fraud claims.
o Maintain accurate logs of the claims process.
2. Monitoring and Reporting:
o Monitor reports and update case tracking accordingly.
o Stay informed about emerging fraud trends and patterns.
o Analyze customer disputes and claims for potential trends.
3. Timely Resolution:
o Ensure alerts and requests are addressed promptly.
o Notify customers of compromised cards as necessary.
4. Additional Duties:
o Assist Deposit Operations staff with day-to-day tasks.
o Assist with other additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
· 2 years’ experience in Regulation E fraud resolution processes preferred.
· Experience in fraud detection, investigation, or related roles.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment.
