About Us
Select Choice Transportation is urgently hiring experienced, compassionate, and dependable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers. You’ll play a vital role in helping clients get to essential appointments safely and on time. Reliability, care, and professionalism are key in this role.
**Minimum Experience Required:
Applicants must have at least 1 year of NEMT driving experience to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport wheelchair and stretcher-bound clients to and from medical appointments
- Assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Communicate clearly with dispatch for updates and instructions
- Deliver professional, compassionate service at all times
Qualifications
- 1 year of NEMT experience (Required)
- Valid driver’s license (Required)
- Clean 7-year motor vehicle record with no suspensions
- No moving violations in the last 3 years
- High school diploma or GED (Required)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Capable of lifting, bending, kneeling, and assisting clients safely
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR or BLS Certification
- Strong communication skills and multitasking ability
- Experience in customer service or caregiving
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend or holiday shifts
- Typical hours: 5:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Some flexibility required)
On the road, based in or near Decatur, GA
