Select Laboratory Partners is seeking to hire a controller to report to the chief financial officer. The controller is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statements, budgets, and cash forecasts Position is full time, Monday - Friday 8:30 am -5:00pm working in the finance department located in Greensboro NC. Option to enroll with Medical, Dental and Vision benefits. Company paid life insurance policy. 401K enrollment available thru ADP Totalsource.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
- Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts and client statements
- Assist CFO to determine ways to reduce costs.
- Understand company financials in order to meet legal requirements and financial regulations.
- Assist CFO in maximizing profits and to find new expansion areas.
- Create new customer account and maintain existing customer accounts in Quickbooks.
- Issue customer invoices, credit memos, apply payments and process credit card payments.
Skills and qualifications:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management
- Basic math skills to make accurate calculations and estimates
Education and experience:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, accounting or finance is required. Several years of experience as an accountant or financial analyst in a financial setting is required. Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience required.
Chartered Financial Analyst certification or Certified Treasury Profession accreditation is a plus but not required.
