Job Title : Data Engineer – ETL Testing, Cloud Migration, and Python

Location : Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3 days in-office)

We’re seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in ETL Testing , Cloud Migration , and Python programming within an AWS environment . Your role will be pivotal in designing robust data workflows, ensuring data integrity, and enabling seamless transitions to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and Optimize Data Pipelines : Build scalable ETL pipelines using AWS tools to process and transform data efficiently.
ETL Testing : Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance through rigorous testing methodologies.
Lead Cloud Migration Projects : Spearhead large-scale cloud migration initiatives to modernize and future-proof data systems.
Python Development : Create custom scripts for data processing and automation, driving efficiency across workflows.
Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective data solutions.
Troubleshoot and Monitor Workflows : Diagnose and resolve issues to ensure data workflows are reliable and optimized for performance.
Support Seamless Transitions : Facilitate smooth data migration while adhering to best practices and security standards

Must-Have Skills :

Experience : 8–10 years in Data Engineering, specializing in ETL, Cloud Migration, and Python development.

Technical Expertise : Hands-on experience with AWS services like S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda .

ETL Proficiency : Strong understanding of ETL testing techniques and methodologies.

Python Mastery : Advanced skills in Python for developing data solutions and automation tools.

Cloud Savvy : In-depth knowledge of cloud migration strategies and industry best practices.

Problem-Solving Skills : A knack for troubleshooting and resolving complex data issues effectively.

Location Flexibility : Ability to work in a hybrid model, spending 3 days per week at our Dallas, TX office.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts, with a focus on Cloud / On-Prem ETL.

Strong understanding of data architecture and best practices in analytics platforms.
