As a Production Safety Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Vice President of Production Operations in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees. Your duties will include coordinating departmental meetings, managing general office services, and developing reports and correspondence as needed.
In addition to your administrative responsibilities, you will also be responsible for analyzing training needs to design occupational safety programs, conducting or finding resources for mandated safety training, and coaching and educating employees on occupational safety regulations. You will also lead and mentor the organization's safety committee and oversee safety manual, safety data sheets, OSHA 300 log, and other related programs in coordination with the HR department.
