Job Description
Select’s Internal Auditor actively participates in organizational audit projects, covering various areas such as financial, operational, compliance, or information technology. This role ensures the organization’s adherence to regulatory requirements, evaluates internal controls, and identifies business risks. The Internal Auditor collaborates with independent auditors and contributes to external audits. Additionally, they draft audit reports and maintain records of findings.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
- Drafting and maintaining SOX Process Flows
- Supporting and assisting with Internal Audit Projects
- Serving as a contact for customer audits.
- Coordinating data and documents for submission, responding to inquiries.
- Handling support activities for the department, including coordinating scheduling, communications, and provision of testing documentation with process owners and outside auditing parties
- Audits the organization's internal operations as directed by leadership.
- Documents and evaluates internal controls, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (including Sarbanes-Oxley), and identifies business risks.
- Reviews financial transactions or reports for accuracy.
- Recommends new or modified procedures that improve efficiency or compliance and mitigate risk or loss.
- Drafts audit reports and maintains records of audit findings.
- Cooperates with independent auditors and provides data in support of external audits as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in business/related field or equivalent relevant experience is required
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Accounting experience/knowledge, preferred
- Must be capable of interacting with all levels of personnel in the organization, as well as third parties
- Self-starter who is willing to accept responsibility and ownership for their function within the Company
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and workload effectively, excellent time management skills
