We have an immediate need for a PLC Controls Engineer/Technician in the
Worcester, MA area. We are open to an entry level BSEE, Associate's with some relevant experience, and/or non-degreed with on-the-job PLC experience.
This is a full-time, contract-to-direct position, and expected to go permanent within 6 months of start date.
Starting pay is at 35-55/HR, dependent on relevant experience and education. Direct salary range is estimated at 70-100k .

Job Summary:
- Position will require assisting machine design
- Developing electrical documentation
- Implements, tests and supports software applications for PLC platforms
- HMI and PLC development based on machine specification.
- Participate in the testing process through test review/performance/analysis and certification of software.
- Perform software maintenance on existing test fixtures.
- Develop training manuals as-needed.
- Machine assembly: Will require assisting in the assembly of proprietary equipment, occasional travel to customer site to assist in the install/service of our products.
- Working knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), or BSEE, and/ or combination of education and work experience.
- Team player who can work effectively in team environment
- Self-starter who work independently with minimal direction
- Detail oriented
- Strong analytical skills and proven problem solver in both team and independent environments
- Computer competency
- Graphical User Interface design/development (Allen Bradley family)
- Strong understanding/experience with test equipment.
- Strong understanding/experience mechanical assembly.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
