What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLC Controls Engineer position at SMART TECH SKILLS LLC?

Job Description

Requirements :

10 or more years of experience in industrial automation and controls engineering.
Proficiency in PLC programming with Allen-Bradley or Rockwell (ControlLogix preferred).
Experience in HMI programming and designing user interfaces.
Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing control system architectures.
Experience with industrial communication protocols and transmission mediums.
Experience in defining and executing test plans for control system solutions.
Proven track record of deploying and stabilizing systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities :

Design and implement PLC-based control systems to support pipeline operations.

Develop and optimize HMI applications to enhance usability and efficiency.

Ensure control system designs meet specifications and industry standards.

Oversee integrators, vendors, and contractors for project execution.

Perform testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for control systems.

Document system designs, configurations, and functional specifications.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
