Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager. This position is responsible for the overall success of customer projects from start to finish. In addition to being responsible for supporting the administrative, scheduling, and communication-related activities for customer projects; the Project Managers are responsible for creating clear and attainable project objectives, building

Job Duties:

• Documents the baseline for projects, and decomposes complex work activities into manageable
  
  

components.

• Identifies project resource requirements and coordinates directly and indirectly with company staff to ensure successful completion of the project. Manages costs, schedules, and quality by overseeing project deliverables.
• Performs ongoing review of project status; identifies possible project risks. Recommends and
  
  

implements risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate.

• Manages project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary. Notify the
  
  

management team early of potential technical, schedule, and budget overages or shortfalls.

• Interfaces with project staff and stakeholders to manage changes to the project, which may involve changes to technical requirements, scope, cost, and schedule.
• Provides weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reporting on project performance using best
  
  

practices both internally and externally

• Assists with the development and support of local project management group processes, procedures, and best practices
• Challenges organizational processes that do not contribute to value delivery and illustrates better process alternatives.
• Actively participates in and contributes to the continuous improvement and evolution of processes, methodologies, and tools within the organization.
  
  

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably with an engineering background.
• 3 plus years of project management experience that focusses in design, build and commission of equipment
• PMP Certification or willing to test for certifications in the next year
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Microsoft skills especially excel
• Strong customer service skills and experience
