CNC Machining Parts Coordinator career opportunity!Location : Lake Forest, IL 60045Pay : ~ / - $30 $40 / hr | ~ / - $60k $80k (Negotiable, based on experience)Shift : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM or 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM CSTPosition Overview : We are looking for a CNC Machining Parts Coordinator with hands-on machine shop experience to oversee parts sourcing, vendor coordination, and production decisions. You’ll help determine whether parts are produced in-house or outsourced and manage pricing, delivery, and ERP data entry. Join a company with a rich history of precision engineering and a collaborative, quality-driven culture.Key Responsibilities : Collaborate with Engineering and Project Managers to prioritize quotes for machined partsSource quotes from machine shops based on project needs (pricing, delivery)Input and maintain part manufacturing processes in the ERP systemCoordinate vendor deliveries and track parts for project assemblyManage spare part orders and close work orders upon project completionBuild long-term vendor relationships for repeat businessResolve print and tolerance questions with vendorsWork closely with the Production team to meet customer expectationsPerform job costing and maintain accurate project parts recordsRequired Skills and Experience : 2-5 years of experience in a machine shop (CNC or similar experience preferred)Strong ERP system knowledge (Global Shop or equivalent preferred)Excellent problem-solving and organizational skillsStrong verbal communication skills for team and vendor collaborationPreferred Qualifications : Associate degreeExperience with Global Shop ERPBenefits : Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and PTO (details provided during interview / offer stage)Performance Metrics : 95% accuracy in parts order processing100% accuracy in work order and stock entryApply Now!For more information, contact Mollie Karns at mkarns@selectek.net | 678-335-6114
